oak Artists in Residence

Although it is hardly Springlike weather, our Summer Term Out and About sessions have started with early pond dipping revealing tiny tadpoles and an enormous Great Diving Beetle as well as some invader goldfish which must have been hidden as eggs amongst the weeds donated to the school pond last year!
The bulbs we planted earlier in the year have bloomed beautifully along The Avenue on the field, in The Nest and in the Flower Garden allotment. Our keen gardeners are now under the guidance of Mrs Wilson to sow, tend and weed fruit, vegetables and flowers through the coming seasons.
