Day 2 Aylmerton

We have had a glorious day starting with the boat trip to see the seals up close, then walking nearly 5 miles along the spit of  Blakeney Point. ( It felt more like 10 at times walking on the shingle but everyone managed it brilliantly.) The treat of walking and sliding in thick mud, giggling and squealing as it oozed between our toes made the long walk liven up again! Some thought it was the best part of the day " gross but fun" ! The children have been great, and all have been completely and eagerly involved in the activities, even after their very early start. No reported homesickness either so they have done very well to adapt positively to their new experiences and surroundings. 

See you tomorrow.. Have the bath, bed and washing machine ready! I will try to blog some photos of our final activities before we leave. The children will fill you in I'm sure!
