We are weaving woollen fabric to make into pencil cases for some children in Sri Lanka who have to buy all their equipment inorder to attend school. The school is in an area severely affected by the Boxing Day tsunami. We are writing to the children to share information about our school lives. A big thank you to children in class who did jobs for pocket money to raise the money to put a pencil, pen, rubber and pencil sharpener in each pencil case.
We took advantage of the recent glorious weather to appreciate the flower garden plot and paint our 'impression' of the colours and shapes....
You can hardly tell the difference between the real and the painted tulips!
Actors in the making with Wind in the Willows theatre company this afternoon.
